The results are in!!! GB finish in 2nd (Dominic), 3rd (Nile), 5th (James), 6th(Courtney)! What a result. Congratulations boys!
JAMES HALL IS THE NEW YOUTH OLYMPIC CHAMPION ON FLOOR, AND COURTNEY TULLOCH ON RINGS!
James also finished in 2nd on Pommel and 3rd on Vault!
Fantastic results for GB and for PEGASUS, I am sure that there will be very little sleep for any of the GB Team tonight!

The boys shall compete this morning in the All around event! Also deciding on who shall be crowned the champion on each of the 6 apparatus! Good Luck to you all!!!!

WOW..... I think it has now sunk in!
So here is some more info for you! ..... The Taxi that was collecting the team from their accommodation arrived 1 hour late, it then took an hour to get to the venue!
Luckily they wanted to be there to support the girls that were competing in the morning so they still had an hour to spare!
The Individual competition is on Sunday and all the boys shall be competing again, this is were they shall also be presented with the top 3 on each apparatus!
So.... Have we any chances? The long answer is YES!
Remembering that Sunday is a new day and anything can happen James finished in 4th place overall today, 2nd Pommel, 2nd Rings, 4th Vault and 5th on High Bar and Courtney 5th All around, 3rd Floor, 5th Pommel, 1st Rings, 1st Vault, 3rd P.Bars.
That’s quite spectacular!
Lets hope that they can pull it all out of the bag again on Sunday. Fingers crossed!
The team also all finished in the top 6 places! Nile in 1st, and Dominic in 6th!

Congratulations to the whole team but of course James and Courtney for outstanding performances, Ionut for his support and the club and coaches! Well well well........
Its the Team Event tomorrow! It shall also decide who shall qualify for the Individual All around, and the Apparatus Finals! How exciting. By the time we wake up the result shall have been decided!
Last day of preparation! In the arena today with the Chinese! Final day prior to the big event!
The Opening Ceremony was spectacular! Lots of young children involved and almost like a “High School Mucical/Glee” production! “The atmosphere was amazing. To be there with some many other nationality's, sports people, and to be part of the Youth Olympics Opening Ceremony -

Training went well. Both James and Courtney are looking confident, elegant, and focused. The team are working well together and have a really good bond. A great team holding and supporting each other! Back for lunch and ready for ceremony.
All excited about the Opening Ceremony in Darling Harbour this evening! Training session first though...
Second training session of the day and the team are looking very confident and precise!
The Chinese team were also in the arena and they are looking very good. However competition is competition and we are all human! Go team GB!!
So..... First training session was a success after a bus ride where no one knew were they were being taken! Finally arriving at the arena! Second training session of the day shall finish at 10pm local time after a bbq lunch in the sun... Lush!
Tomorrow shall see the opening ceremony in Darling Harbour!
8.30pm our time and they have landed, and yes the phones are working so yippee! Off to the hotel and time for a shower and breakfast as it is 7.30am 14th January! Quick body clock adaptation needed prior to Friday’s team competition!
They have landed in Singapore. Both boys and Ionut are fine and keeping active! Next stop Sydney!!

So James, Courtney and Ionut have left for Heathrow Airport with their flight leaving at 21.55 this evening. Hopefully the weather shall be on side and the plane on time!
