Courtney competes and finishes in 6th place in a World Championship rings final! What a result...... Along with his 6th place result Courtney competed a skill that hadn’t been seen or registered by the FIG before! The FIG have registered this skill and called it “Tulloch”! It has been valued as an F!
Courtney will be preparing for the Rings Finals now! Good luck and show the World who really is “King of the Rings!”

Team GB secure a highly respectable 4th place in the World Championships Team Final in China.... Congratulations!
Saturday 4th October -
Confirmation that Team GB have secured a place in the Team Final, qualifying in 4th place just behind USA!
Courtney also qualifies for the Rings Final in 5th place -
Friday 3rd October -
With one day of qualifications completed, and 24 countries represented Great Britain are currently sitting in 2nd place behind China and ahead of Brazil:
Day 2 will see teams from USA, Russia, Japan and many more.
In the qualification event for the Team Final, 6 gymnasts make up the team, 5 compete and present their routines, and the top 4 scores count towards the team total. In the Team final later next week 3 gymnasts will present routines and all 3 scores will count.
At the moment Courtney Tulloch is sitting with the 3rd highest rings score at the half way point. Should he remain in the top we will see him achieve a spot in the Rings Final at the World Championships!
Courtney Tulloch, member of Pegasus Gymnastics Club and GB Top Squad, qualified to represent Team GB at the World Championships in Nanning, China! Part of the Youth Olympic Team that took gold in Australia 2013, and claiming a host of International medals over the past few years, Courtney will be hoping to qualify with the GB team for the Team Finals and to compete in the Rings final with the best of the best in the world!
Team Qualifications will be on Friday 3rd October at 20.00 hrs local time. There are 10 sub-
The qualifications will also be the deciding factor on which gymnasts qualify for the All Around and Apparatus Finals.
